Westwood Youth Football League is a fall traveling East Texas community cheer and football league that promotes the learning of fundamental football and life skills such as teamwork, sportsmanship and hard work. We have flag football for the younger kids ages 5 to 6 and tackle football for kids ages 7-12. The league provides kids an opportunity to learn and compete in a safe supportive environment. 

 

It provides the opportunity for families from the community to form bonds, friendships and unity that will carry on through the rest of their lives. 

 

Teaching the importance of education, hard work and dedication, while having fun is the basis of the Texas Youth Advocates’ Westwood Youth Football League program. All area youth are welcomed.

Age & Division Requirements

Flag:              Child cannot be older than 6 by July 31st.

Freshman:      Child cannot be older than 8 by July 31st.

Sophomore:    Child cannot be older than 10 by July 31st.

Juniors:          Child cannot be older than 12 by July 31st.

Cheerleaders:  4-12 years old
